Today my friends and I went to an In door, air conditioned trampoline park. It was a blast jumping and flipping and getting good exercise while still not super hot because of the air conditioning. The first hour was nice and cool but after a little while we stopped feeling the cool air of the air conditioner. We were disappointed that the air conditioner was no longer on and we were getting sweaty. It was so hot in there that we began to wonder if they had turned the heater on. We went to the front desk and asked if there was a reason the air conditioning was off. The worker pointed over to the cafe area where there were several elderly ladies sipping tea. The worker said the ladies had complained that the air conditioning was making it too cold and they had requested that the furnace be turned on. I was furious. Why were old ladies, who weren’t even using the trampolines, asking to turn the furnace on and ruin the fun for the rest of us. We attempted to jump some more, but without the air conditioning it was too hot. We finally decided to go to the elderly ladies and ask them if it was all right that they turned the air conditioner back on. They told us that maybe the manager would allow them to have the furnace on on their side of the building and the air conditioning on the trampolines. We all went to the manager and asked if he would be so kind as to have both the air conditioning and the furnace on at once. It took some convincing but he complied. The rest of that day we enjoyed jumping on the trampolines in the cooling air of the air conditioners.
