My wife always complains that we never go anywhere on the weekend. We both work full-time jobs throughout the week and I am always very tired on Saturday and Sunday. I don’t want to make plans to go to the Carnival, wine festival, or the beach. I want to sit in the living room with a cold beer in one hand and a remote control in the other hand. Still, I knew that I needed to do something amazing to show my wife how much I love her. When it was getting close to our anniversary, I planned a weekend away at the beach. I rented a small condo with two bedrooms and a jacuzzi tub. My wife was really impressed that I thought ahead and made such a lavish plan for the two of us. I thought the accommodations were wonderful and I left a great review on the condo rental website. One thing that I loved the most was the fact that they had a mini split HVAC system in the bedroom and the living room. Each one of the mini-split HVAC systems had a separate remote control to change the temperature. My wife and I turned down the mini-split HVAC system in our bedroom to 66°. We kept the living room a little bit warmer at 70 degrees. We never keep our home at such low temperatures, because it would cost a fortune to run the air conditioner like that and our large home. It was nice to get away to a condo and enjoy some luxuries that we don’t have at home.
