The people I was with and I finally decided to purchase an electric gas furnace, and I am easily not sure if we made the right decision; I have lived in this house for a long time, and during the entire time that I was living in this house, we had a gas gas furnace that constantly kept myself and others warm.
Everyone knows that gas furnaces are a lot better than electric gas furnaces, however first of all, gas furnaces are a lot cheaper than electric gas furnaces. Even though electric furnaces are technically more efficient than gas furnaces because electric furnaces don’t need an exhaust, it is absolutely more costly to use an electric gas furnace… However, I understand why people wouldn’t want a gas gas furnace, and when you have a gas gas furnace, that also means that you have to have a steady supply of natural gas for your house, but that means that you will get an extra bill every month because of your oil furnace. If you aren’t great at keeping track of bills, then you might want an electric gas furnace! Gas furnaces are also more costly at first even though they will save you money in the long run. The only reason that my fiance wanted an electric gas furnace was that she was afraid of the natural gas leaking and causing us to die. The people I was with and I waited until our old gas gas furnace stopped working and replaced it with an electric gas furnace, and she is thrilled, but if I am honest, then I will admit that I miss my old gas gas furnace. The electric gas furnace isn’t the same, and it has increased our bills even though we only have a single now.
