For twenty years now I have managed a nursing home. My staff and I do our best to ensure all our guests are safe and comfortable. The first way we do this is by having an excellent heating and cooling unit. Having the correct temperatures is vital to the comfort of the elderly. Because older folks get cold easier, we have gone all out to get an excellent heating system. We have an electric heater and it is the latest in HVAC technology. So far we have gotten a lot of positive feedback on the heating system by both our guests and their families. While having a nice heater was very important, having a fantastic a/c system is just as important. During the summer months the temperatures can be scorching! Luckily the a/c unit has many vents all throughout the facility to keep our guests cool during even the hottest temperatures. Along with ideal temperatures we like to keep the indoor air quality clean and clear and in order to ensure that our heater and a/c stay in tip-top shape, we have yearly inspections and cleanings performed by the HVAC professionals. In addition to the heating and cooling needs, we ensure to provide fun games and great food to make a great experience all around. Within the last 15 years, we have gotten nothing but positive feedback. Our goal is to make all our residents feel welcome and at home amid some of the most testing conditions. With all of the measures that have been taken, I am happy to say that goal has been met.
