It’s the start of the hot summer weather and most people are stuck indoors.
It’s dangerous to go to the beach, lake, or the Springs. In fact, it’s dangerous to go anywhere right now. My wife is home from work with the children, while I am still working outside of the home. It’s impossible to complete Heating and A/C repairs over the telephone, so I need to be available to work every day. Luckily, the boss is paying us a premium hourly wage to continue to work during the covid-19 crisis. My wife has been hard at work making me some masks to wear. It’s important that our family is safe and that means that I need to be careful when I am away from the home. I have rubber gloves in the truck and three different bottles of hand sanitizer. I have a fresh mask to wear every day. But there are still a number of folks that are requesting Heating and A/C repairs and installations at this time, and we are also getting a ton of calls for UV air purifiers and air filtration units, and everyone seems to be concerned about the indoor air quality levels! Our company has been advertising air duct cleaning services for almost a year. During that time, we performed about 50 or 60 full ductwork cleanings. We now have had more than 100 requests in the last two months. The Heating and A/C industry is really thriving right now and I am making a lot of money, but still, I need to be safe when I’m away from the house. There is so much danger lurking outside those four walls.
