My husband has basically always wanted a recliner… I hate the look of them and they are made out of cheap materials for the most part.
Every now and then my husband tells me that he is definitely going to get one. He picks out a hideous baby red chair that is sizable with cup holders. I don’t want to store an awful looking recliner in my residence! Since I realize that it is a matter of time before he caves, I am going to just get him something that is not super ugly. I have been thinking about getting a custom made recliner. My husband is not very tall, he doesn’t need a huge chair. I also don’t want it as wide as a normal recliner. The material on the recliner is substantial to me too. Why are all those chairs covered in ridiculous, fuzzy fabrics? I either want a leather recliner or some other high end material. I suppose my husband would prefer having cup holders. If there was a way the custom furniture builder could make cup holders that actually conceal within the chair, then maybe I could go with this. Then of course, there is the foot rest. I don’t want to have a long, bulky thing sticking out all the time. I wonder if the furniture builder could craft the lift to be perfect for his leg and foot size, no longer or wider. I am not going to be pleased with any style of recliner, however with a custom made piece perhaps I can deal with it. I think it will look of better quality and hide the horrendous features that most recliners have.
