My partner has pretty much always wanted a recliner… I do not like the look of them and they are often made out of incredibly cheap materials.
Every now and then my partner threatens to buy one. He tries to go for a hideous baby orange chair that is huge with cup holders. I don’t want to store such an ugly recliner in our dwelling. Since I know it is a matter of time before he eventually caves, I am going to get him one that is not terribly ugly. I have been thinking about getting a custom made recliner. My partner is not very tall, he does not need a sizable chair. I also don’t want it as wide as a regular recliner. The material on the recliner is important to me also. Why are all those chairs covered in bold, fuzzy fabrics? I either want a leather recliner or some other quality material. I know my partner would prefer having cup holders. If there was a way the custom furniture builder could make cup holders that actually conceal within the chair, then maybe I could allow this. Of course, there is also the foot rest to think about. I don’t want a long, bulky thing sticking out on a regular basis. I wonder if the furniture builder would be able to craft the lift to be just right for his leg and foot size, no longer or wider. I am not going to be all that thrilled with any type of recliner, but with a custom made piece perhaps I can manage to get over it. I suppose it will look of better quality and conceal the ugly features that most recliners have.
