Staying in a hostel is one of the most affordable ways to live while on campus.

One thing that makes my hostel outstanding is the reliability we have with the air conditioning system. There have never been any significant damages to cause worry. However, I was moved to section B, which had new HVAC units installed barely a month ago. I hoped that it would be reliable, just like the old one in section A. However, this was not the case as it turned out that the furnace/heater did not produce any warmth. When the cooling and heating provider was called, he said that there could be a problem with the air filter. This was absurd because it was too early to have a furnace/heater repair with a system that was one month old. I asked the management if they had contracted the HVAC company that had installed the system in section A, but he informed me that they had a new contractor. With my experience with our home system, I knew the air conditioner install could be the problem. It is always advisable to hire an air conditioning professional with wide experience in the cooling industry. Even before they could send an a/c repairman, the system failed at night as we prepared for the exams. So we had to shift to section A where the air quality was favorable. Luckily, the management was covered with homeowner solutions, making them eligible for a system replacement from the air conditioning business at no extra cost.
