There was a time where going to the gym was the very last thing that I wanted to do. It was always my plan to leave work dressed for the gym. That way I could hit the local gym on my way home before I could blow it off. However, I would always find any and every reason not to go to the health and fitness center. It was just so easy to simply not go to the gym because I just wasn’t all that interested or motivated. This was no way to succeed with a my workout program. Instead, I would go to the gym to do some weight lifting and maybe some cardio before I gave up and went home. I did at least make the attempt to get to the health and fitness center. Yet, I actively disliked the workout program I had set for myself. Eventually, had I kept this up, I would have just stopped going to the health and fitness center altogether. That is not what I wanted to have happen. So when my local gym membership lapsed, I chose to find something a bit more interesting for my next workout program. This lead me to another health and fitness center where the workout classes offered were so varied. Still, I was super excited about the yoga studio inside the health and fitness center. Finding yoga has brought the fun back to going to the gym. It does so much for my workout program as well as my whole being.
