The HVAC professional suspected there was an issue with the ductwork and he said that there might be ductwork replacement involved.
Well, he definitely was right because when he inspected everything with my HVAC system, he found a lot of leaks in my ductwork system. There was even one spot where the ductwork had a hole in it that had to be replaced because it was leaking a huge amount of treated air. He didn’t hesitate to show me what I was dealing with and he asked me if it would be okay to proceed with the ductwork replacement of that section. He said he had sheet metal in his work truck that he could cut on the spot and have everything fixed before he left. I was surprised because I never had an HVAC technician cut the sheet metal for ductwork before at my home. I agreed to the work and this guy did phenomenal work. You could tell he had done this numerous times before and he definitely was good at this work. When he had my ductwork looking brand new, he sealed everything good and tight and then did the ductwork cleaning. My air quality improved, my energy bills went down drastically, and I am really happy with my HVAC services. I do think that it might be a good idea to stay with this particular HVAC company and get enrolled with their HVAC service plan.
