My brother decided to move to another state to get into the cannabis industry. Don’t get me wrong, he makes good money, but he is a major stoner. He also told me how proud he was of me because I became a successful HVAC professional. Well, recently when I went to visit him, I was telling him how he could use some improvement with the air quality in his home. I could tell he was high as a kite the minute I walked into his place. He actually forgot that I was arriving at his place that afternoon. I thought it was sad because I reminded him I was coming out before I got on the plane! Well, I guess he had been smoking the whole day and I kept giving him a hard time about it. He ended up asking me about what kind of HVAC system he should go for because he was thinking about going for an upgrade. I started telling him about the different options he had like geo heat pumps, ductless mini splits, and other air quality systems. Then he went on a little rant and was saying how they should make an HVAC system that was a combination of these different systems. I tried to interrupt him to tell him there was already something like that known as a dual fuel HVAC system, but he just kept on ranting. When I finally was able to tell him, he seemed surprised and said that’s exactly what he wanted. I told him it actually would be a smart move to go for that because those are highly efficient HVAC systems, but they cost a good amount of money. Money he said was no object, and so we made arrangements for his installation. I did this installation for him as a favor and got him a better deal.
