I have a twin brother and some of what you hear about twins is true.
- For sure, we are like so totally connected.
I was in a car accident once in college and my brother woke up in the middle of the night because he could feel that I was in danger. And he was inside the quality heating and air of my parent’s house at the time. So yea, we are crazy close and connected to each other. But we also couldn’t be more different when it comes to our personalities and lifestyles. I’m sort of cautious and I like structure. I go to work inside the zone controlled HVAC of my office each day and sort of stick to my comfort of routine. My brother, he’s a live wire and lives on impulse and gut feelings. He’s a successful entrepreneur but that doesn’t come without his fair share of failure. Yet, he just seems impervious to doubt or disappointment and just gets right back on the horse. Still, his near complete confidence can get him into trouble. I called over to his place not too long ago and his wife told me he couldn’t come to the phone because he was about to fix the air conditioning. I jumped in my car and raced to his house. Thankfully, I was able to get there while he was still watching HVAC repair videos online. So I pulled up his HVAC warranty and read the part about voiding the warranty if anyone but an HVAC professionals serviced the HVAC unit. And that’s yet another save that my brother owes me a few beers on.
