Our worship team was supposed to have rehearsal around 7pm on Wednesday night this week but the janitor at the church forgot to go in and turn the air conditioning on for us.
- I personally think that it’s kind of annoying that he forgot because he really only has one job.
Well, I guess he has to clean but the other job that he has is to be in charge of the heating and cooling system at the church. This is a smart guy, and he really does not have to do very much around there. He gets paid very well, so the fact that he keeps forgetting about the heating and cooling system is pretty frustrating to me. I guess I should just give him a little bit of leeway though. It just makes me frustrated when we are supposed to be there practicing, and we can’t because the temperature inside of the church is just too hot. I don’t know if a lot of people know this, but you can’t play instruments when it’s way too hot because it can mess them up. It’s the same thing when the weather is too cold. You need to have even temperature levels for your instruments for them to be able to function at their best. Anyway, the worship team could not have rehearsal because it was so hot and now I’m wondering if we are gonna sound terrible on Sunday or not. I know that it’s not all about the way that you sound on my but when you are doing something like singing on a worship team, you want it to sound as good as it can.
