I hadn’t talked to our daughter for over a week. She is a truck driver & normally she will call me every other afternoon, just to ease the boredom. I had to divulge that I wasn’t just anxious about him, but I missed talking to him. She had a way of making our afternoon brighter. When she called me more than one afternoons later, I was ecstatic to hear her voice. I acted enjoy I wasn’t nervous, although she knew me too well. She told me that her truck was down. She had left her phone in the truck & someone had stolen it. I asked if the truck was okay. There was a concern with the Heating & A/C system. She said that it was either way too hot or way too cold. The fact that she is in several unusual climates in the space of a week, made it necessary for him to consistently have a nice working Heating & A/C system. She called me one day & told me that she had the oil furnace running. She was sending me pictures of snow falling & she spanned over to show me the nearly several feet of snow along the highway. Later that afternoon, she texted me a picture of the beach & she said the cooling system was working & the heater. For the next several afternoons, I was getting pictures & little texts. She was telling me how well the cooling system or heating was working. She told me the Heating & A/C was working better than when the truck was new. Yesterday, I got a text that said the Heating & A/C wasn’t working. She sent me a picture five hours later, & she told me that it was appealing seventy degrees & no Heating & A/C was needed.
