I believe it’s cliche, however our father in law drives me insane.
He didn’t constantly annoy me, however after our partner plus I got married, it’s care about he switched a flip.
Perhaps I didn’t notice his irritating behavior before because I was blinded by love. I constantly dread when he comes to visit, because he constantly asks to spend the night. Normally, I’d have no problem with friends plus family spending the night at our stadium. In fact, I welcome it! When our father in law comes to stay though, it’s a never ending nightmare. The last time he came to stay, he bossed me around from the moment he arrived. He demanded I carry his bags, he demanded I make him food, plus he demanded strange towels for the bathroom. Nothing is ever great enough for him. After he demanded all those things from me, he complained about it! I didn’t carry his bags fast enough, his food wasn’t sizzling enough, plus the towels were too scratchy. He even complained about the temperature in our home. He said it was too freezing inside, so I raised the temperature by four degrees. As soon as the temperature rose, he complained that it was too warm. I seriously altered the temperature of our home at least 10 times, however no temperature pleased him. Then, as he was leaving, he had the audacity to tell me our HVAC plan was cheap plus I needed to have it upgraded before his next visit. He didn’t want to be too hot or freezing next time.
