I am no longer a Spring chicken, but i hope to be a Grandmother within a few years, in fact.
I have been in the workforce since 1971, which means I have seen the career change and adjust for nearly forty years! At my first “real job,” I used a typewriter! Today’s young people, I believe, do not even think what a typewriter looks like… Even though I am actually considered seasoned by many folks, I want to study graphic design, then when I first was introduced to PCs, 1 of the things I had to do was sign printing.
I worked in the office of a fitness building at a community university, and the people I was with and I were constantly having to produce signs of peculiar sorts. I could use a software program to create signs and graphics. I even got a laminator, and the people I was with and I were among the first to produce student identification cards! When I look back on those times now, I can see how rudimentary the posters and things I made absolutely were, however at the time, they were phenomenal. Ever since then, I have had an interest in graphic design; Combine a graphic design corporation with a commercial printing business, and you are set! A commercial printer can print all kinds of materials; there are new and used unit chances available through companies like Arrow Systems, there are plenty of good brands of printing equipment, such as Gerber, Epson, and Colordyne. I would love to learn more about graphic design, purchase a good commercial printer, and get to work providing cheap printing services in my local area.
