I just bought a rolling cart for our musical unit on Amazon, and last evening when I used it it was absolutely loud in the streets, so I need to find some kind of solution to quiet the wheels down a little bit. I am thinking that I can take a tube from a bike and split it in small strips and glue it with epoxy onto the surface of the wheels so that it is quieter. I feel the local business near me will have something that I can use to make it quieter. I am an Heating & Air Conditioning unit engineer and I should be able to figure this out instead of returning the thing, which I hate to do because it’s just a waste of time and currency for everybody. I used to build heating and cooling equipment, as I was a process engineer and had to figure out solutions to all kinds of things, so this should be a entirely simple fix. I just do not want to bother the whole neighborhood when I am carting back our musical unit at evening from our gigs that I am doing around town, last evening there was somebody running a small portable cooling system, you think those window units that stick out of the windows, and when I was going by with our cart I could not even hear the cooling system running because our motorcar was so loud. I do a lot of gigs, so I am regularly going to be using this cart and I do not want to bother the neighborhood every time I am going down the streets.
