Over the last 6 weeks or so, there have been a few train derailments around the country; One of the worst ones happened in the small city of Palestine, OH, where a train derailed and spilled a toxic chemical agent… If that weren’t bad enough, the experts decided to burn off the chemicals, which caused a toxic situation to become more dangerous, the burn-off caused the chemicals to pollute the air and the residents of the city have been feeling the impact of this disaster, and some have gotten sick from the fumes as there isn’t much they can do about them.
Of course, there was an evacuation order, but many residents returned house after they were told that the air was safe to breathe, then breathing wash air is important for our health and it’s unfortunate that many of the people residing in Palestine are breathing in toxic fumes, and from what I have noticed on the news, it doesn’t sound like the residents are using any devices to purify the air in their homes.
An air cleaner could help to remove so many toxins from the air, which means it would improve the indoor air quality; While the residents of the city can’t control the outdoor air quality, they certainly can use air cleaners to wash and filter the air in their homes. I don’t guess that an air cleaner would solve the problems caused by the chemical spill, but it could help to improve the quality of life for the residents of the town. I just hope that they can find some relief soon because nobody should have to breathe in toxic fumes where they live.
