One of the wildest things to me when it comes to football is that they can play even when there is snow on the field.
How are they not sliding around? Are they not freezing in those little pants? Aren’t the fans leaving because they are freezing to death? Well, all of my questions were answered by my knowledgeable boyfriend.
Simply put, football is not for the weak. However, I did find out that there are portable electric heaters that are allowed in to the stadiums that experience a lot of snowfall. If you have a lot of money, you can even get a box seat equipped with central heating and cooling. It can be dangerous to be out in that kind of weather unprepared. I also learned that there are heaters on the sidelines for the players to warm up by. Another question I have is the cheerleaders. Are they ok? I know they have got to be freezing. These people are very committed to the sport of football. The fans will usually carry hand warmers in their pockets. These are bags that are full of a substance that heats up when agitated. These are good for the fans that are not able to bring a portable electric heater into the stadium. If you ask me, I am fine with watching the football game from the comfort of my own home. I can adjust the thermostat to my liking and do not have to worry about developing a case of pneumonia.
