Being in my early twenties I have little responsibility and many occasions to hang with my friends. I still live at household with my parents and they allow me to do so without paying rent so the money I acquire at my part time job is pretty much for me to do with what I please. Now I could do the responsible thing, which would be to put it away in savings, but, I don’t tend to do that. I spend most of my money on clothing and going to local clubs with my friends from college, and last week I was invited to a home party with some of the upperclassmen and I was particularly happy to go. There was one girl in particular that would be there that I had been interested in for a while and I thought it would be an excellent option to talk to him, then seeing as it was the beginning of summer, I dressed in light clothing and headed out the door. The evening air was heavy because of the humidity however I figured once I got to the party they would have the air conditioner on and I would be comfortable. I learned quickly that that would not be the case because when I walked into the home I was welcomed by a wall of boiling muggy air. They said that they didn’t have a working air conditioner and the combination of almost everyone and the air quality was just too much. I ended up heading back household after just a couple of hours and I didn’t even get a option to talk to the girl I was interested in.
