Weddings are a blast, aren’t they? I love going to them and this year we have celebrated with six of our friends.
I love seeing all the different venues, decorations, and of course, the bride.
My favorite part of any of the celebrations has to be the dancing. I look forward to spending the day on the dance floor so long as the venue is comfortable. If it is too hot then I have to take frequent breaks so I always hope that the air conditioning is working. There was one wedding that I attended this year that I actually wished the air conditioning would break. They had the temperature turned down so low that it was freezing in the venue. It was so cold that our dinners weren’t even hot when they brought them to us. The air vents located above us were blasting us with cold air the entire night. Even the fact that there were over two hundred people in the room did not help. I was so happy when the music started because I spent the rest of the night on the dancefloor to keep warm. My date didn’t really appreciate this as he was out there the whole time too. He must have thought I was crazy for not wanting to sit down and take a break. The wedding was beautiful and my friend made a lovely bride. I was glad to celebrate with her and I surely got my exercise that night on the dance floor. I did call the venue the next day though to suggest that they have their HVAC system adjusted or looked at because it was definitely too cold in there.
