We have to travel for our jobs while in the week which makes it necessary to kennel our cats while my associate and I are away.
This is normally not a problem because the people who own the kennels are wonderful with the cats and even have a park type part for the cats to run. My friend and I started noticing that our one pet was more and more hesitant to get out of the vehicle when my associate and I arrived. My friend and I question the owners to see if anything had changed or if perhaps a up-to-date pet was staying there that maybe ours didn’t care for, they said they had the same clients that they had for the last six months and they didn’t see anything going on between any of them that would be a concern. I did but notice, but now that the winter time had arrived the lobby was colder than I felt it should be… When I asked about their Heating as well as Air Conditioning system they said that they used portable furnaces in most areas of the kennel and try to maintain and even temperature. I didn’t realize that perhaps our pet was feeling that it was too frigid to spend days on end on a concrete floor without having sufficient heat. My friend and I were on our way out of neighborhood so I dropped him off that afternoon but also decided to make some calls to find a up-to-date arena for them that was heated constantly. My friend and I cherish our cats particularly much and want them to be cared for in the best way possible while my associate and I are traveling. I always feel guilty when I leave them and so glad when I can see them again.
