Being in my early twenties I have little responsibility and many chances to hang with my friends.
I still live at dwelling with my parents and they allow me to do so without paying rent so the currency I earn at my part time job is pretty much for me to do with what I please.
Now I could do the responsible thing, which would be to put it away in savings, but, I do not tend to do that. I spend most of my currency on clothing and going to local clubs with my friends from university, however last month I was invited to a apartment get-together with some of the upperclassmen and I was entirely gleeful to go. There was one boy in particular that would be there that I had been interested in for a while and I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to talk to him, seeing as it was the start of summer, I dressed in light clothing and headed out the door. The evening air was heavy because of the humidity even though I figured once I got to the get-together they would have the a/c on and I would be comfortable. I learned abruptly that that would not be the case because when I walked into the apartment I was welcomed by a wall of boiling muggy air. They said that they did not have a working a/c and the combination of everyone and the air quality was just too much. I ended up heading back dwelling after just a couple of hours and I did not even get a option to talk to the guy I was interested in.
