This summer has been hot to say the least.
I think we must be having a heat wave because I can hardly walk outside without breaking into a sweat within seconds. I think that my air conditioner is on the fritz too because it doesn’t feel like it is able to keep up with the hot temperatures outside and cool the house down as well as it used too. I am starting to get worried that our HVAC system is going to stop working all together. I really don’t want to have to buy a whole new HVAC unit because I know that can be very expensive. However, two days ago I noticed that the air really wasn’t coming out of the vents anymore. I had to call our local HVAC guy to see if we really would need to replace the HVAC system or if a small repair would do the trick. One the HVAC tech came out to the house I could tell by the look on his face that he didn’t have good news. I could tell he was about to say that we would need to redo the entire HVAC system if we wanted it to last for the rest of the summer. I really didn’t want this to be the case, but now we are going to have to figure it out or be without an air conditioner for the rest of the summer. Not having an air conditioner is not an option for us, so we are going to figure something out!
