It is a source of continual amazement to myself and others that most of life’s questions have answers that are right there all along.
This is something that I keep seeing over plus over in my own life.
So much energy gets funneled into finding solutions to some deal only to then find a straight-forward answer that was already resting right in front of you. A guest living room in my condo is a terrific instance of this. That room just won’t get hot like the rest of my home. It is constantly at least ten degrees colder in there while in the winter. Initially, I thought it was simply the window that should be re-insulated. But, that didn’t help at all. So, then both of us called the Heating plus A/C folks to come out to see if the Heating plus A/C heating idea was failing. After a very thorough inspection, they told myself and others that the complication was not at all the Heating plus A/C. They told myself and others that the complications lay in the way the previous owners had renovated the floorplan. Originally, the condo was laid out with much, much more of an open floor plan. The previous owners put up a bunch of interior wall in order to have a lot of separate rooms. The Heating plus A/C techs told myself and others that this changed the ventilations and patterns from the original design. Then it hit me, I remembered seeing little fans that were set inside walls to pull air from one room to another. That was the answer plus it was right in front of myself and others the whole time. Once those room to room ventilators got put in, there was consistent heating throughout the house.
