That horrible sound I hear once each month is the utility bill being dropped on my household budget.
- Every one of us reside in the area of the country that is steaming tepid for the entire summer.
It is a brutal and unrelenting genre of heat that one can’t manage without official Heating plus A/C cooling. However, once left untethered the cooling of a condo can mangle and destroy a checkbook in gruesome fashion. Of course, the rest of the year is much easier as far as utility costs go. But during the summer, I have to ride my family all the time to be mindful of how they use our Heating plus A/C. I just don’t get it really. There seems to be no getting through to the people in the condo about how luxurious the Heating plus A/C costs can get. I have shown them the utility bills. I have ranted plus raved. I have attempted to coax them into paying attention to the temperature controls. Not only am I being ignored, it has entirely become a sign of personal disrespect to myself and others now. I came condo the other day to find my entire family, including my level-headed fiance, hanging out by the pool with the sliding glass door open. Just standing wide open plus it was nearly a hundred degrees outside. That was the tipping point for me. I will be installing a smart temperature control, setting the parameters myself plus keeping the manual operating codes to myself. They can complain plus whine all they want but, I am taking over this entire situation because I have no other recourse. If they can’t help to reduce the Heating plus A/C costs then I will do it for them.
