I was forced to get a roommate and one fast.
I got stuck with Wanda, but wanda honestly likes cooking exotic, stinky food, then she makes fish, curry dishes and gets creative with spices, and my cabin constantly smells honestly gross. I am at the point where I do not want anyone to visit myself and others in my modern house. I have tried candles, air freshners, cleaning my cabin and using bleach in the study room. Whatever modern scent I introduce gets overpowered by Wanda’s cooking. I gently tried to ask her not to cook with so several spices and that didn’t go over well. I can’t afford to have her just pack up and leave. I have found online that a lot of people use air cleaners for smells in their home; An air purification plan can connect to your Heating, Ventilation, and A/C or just be free sitting around your home. It attacks the air quality and removes dust, dirty and smells from it, the ones I have found online seem quite reasonably priced. The reviews aren’t too good. A lot of people complain the free sitting air cleaners are not powerful enough, it is better to go with one that hooks to a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit. I don’t honestly want to call a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer and buy a more lavish one though. I am trying to save money. It might be worth spending a bit of my money to be able to breathe easy in my lake cabin again.
