Occasionally I suppose particularly trapped living in this town! When I was looking for a new location to live I never could have imagined that I would wind up in such an oppressive & backwards community.
I come from an severely progressive section of the country where people are accepting & open minded. No matter what you’re into, folks will respect it & try to learn more about your interests, then around here, it is the exact opposite. Everyone is a bible thumper & they are severely judgemental because of their highly organized religious activities, but recently, I realized that I couldn’t even call the local heating, cooling, & ventilation repair shop separate from encountering the same religious undertone. I simply needed an air conditioner repair appointment because our AC unit was pumping out tepid air 1 day. I knew that the indoor air handling device was getting rather ancient & I wasn’t surprised that the air conditioner method would need a professional inspection. It was particularly likely that our AC unit had a broken part which needed to be professionally updated; Unluckyly, when I called out the heating & cooling serviceman for help with our cooling method she refused to come anywhere near our house. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C dealership called myself and others & said that they couldn’t fulfill the appointment because they didn’t have a heating or cooling serviceman willing to come onto our property. Why? Because I had our Halloween decorations up already… They wouldn’t inspect our AC unit because our cabin bore the mark of the devil. I particularly need to move.
