To this day I am not sure what happened, however when I was 10 year seasoned I got pulled out of college, plus our family moved out into the woods, but both of us had been a mediocre middle class family in the suburbs, not rich by any means, however I never missed any meals.
Next thing I think every one of us crammed as much stuff as every one of us could into a panel van, plus every one of us drove out into the foothills, where every one of us moved into a small cottage.
So that was life from there on out, being home collegeed plus laboring the land with our family to turn it into a home. At first, there was no heating, plus every one of us had to build bonfires outside of the home to keep moderate on the coldest mornings. Both of us had the panel van, thankfully, so every one of us could also sleep inside of that with the gas furnace running all night. Then came the summer, plus things very got even more uncomfortable due to the lack of air conditioner plus the alarming heat plus humidity of the area. This was heat stroke weather, plus every one of us found ourselves sleeping in the panel van with the AC running all night just for a little respite. In time every one of us made the home more livable, with a fireplace in the residing room plus a small portable AC unit mounted in the upstairs study room window, even with these comforts, the extremes in local weather made heating plus cooling an ongoing struggle for us the entire time every one of us lived there. Eventually I moved away, however I’ll tell you about that next time.
