I was in the laundry room trying to catch up on our laundry when I heard someone asking if there was anyone home? I was half afraid to answer back, since I don’t love having strangers in our house, but he was already inside. I looked at the calendar in the living room plus realized the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist was to be there today to check on the a/c unit. I always had them inspect the AC component in late May, so both of us had it running when summer time turned on its heat. Had I remembered the date, I wouldn’t have been so surprised to hear someone in our house, although I now knew it was just the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist. I walked into the living room plus apologized for not hearing the doorbell. He said the door was open, plus he thought it would be best if he just called out. He didn’t guess all the people would be gone plus leave a door wide open. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist told me he had seen the a/c component when he came in, so he would just let himself out plus do his job. When he finished inspecting the AC unit, he rang the doorbell plus this time I was ready for him. I let him in plus offered him a glass of iced Pepsi as both of us went over the maintenance sheet. He said he found a problem with the fan motor, but he had a spare one in the maintenance van plus just changed it out. I’m thrilled I had an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist who was honest, or I could have been in big trouble for not locking the screen door.
