I was called in for an interview at the local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C dealer.
I had put applications in for every Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier in a ten-mile radius of where I lived. When I got called to come in for an interview, I forgot to ask for their address. I had the name of the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C dealer, however that wasn’t enough to find our way there. I stopped & asked someone at the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier nearest to our lake house if they could give myself and others instruction to the local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C dealer. I provided them the name of the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier & he said he had never heard of them. I couldn’t think he was being honest. I ended up talking to someone else who was parked at the grocery store. He was in an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C service van. He chuckled & said that he didn’t assume that name, however there was an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier about many blocks from there. I looked around, realizing the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier he was referring had been the one I had just come from. OK. So maybe I had written the wrong name down. I walked into the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C dealer, provided them our name & told them I had been called for an interview. The owner came out & greeted myself and others with a smile. He apologized & said he didn’t assume me, however he was sure he had given myself and others a corporation card. When I showed it to him, it was the corporation card for the local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier in his lake house town. He apologized & told myself and others that supplier was owned by his son.
