Morris and his new wife, Marissa, planned to convert their five-bedroom house into a bed and breakfast.
The house initially belonged to Marrissa, who inherited it after passing on. Every bedroom had its bathroom, and her parents had renovated the house five years back, so it was in excellent condition, and they did not have to change a thing, so the transition would not cost a lot. At first, Marissa was sad that her childhood home would be welcoming strangers. They asked the four friends, including myself, to help look into different heating equipment that would suit their new venture. The existing heating device was a furnace; by some grace, the boiler was still miraculously running even after all those years. Not to mention the constant heating repair it needed. We all presented our experiences because each used a different heating technology. We brought in an HVAC tech who suggested something neither of us had thought about when we looked through various equipment. She told a geo heat pump, and from the information that she gave us, it was the best invention in the heating industry from my perspective. Just like the other systems, it would still need them to contact the home services company for heating maintenance, reducing the number of heating repairs it will need. Since the home had a working ductwork system, it would only require updating and duct sealing. The upfront cost that the heating dealer quoted was a lot, but Morris and Marissa agreed it was a worthy investment, and with that, the HVAC serviceman gave us a rundown of the whole installation process. The other addition to the system would be a digital thermostat.
