Last year, when the weather was heating up at the beginning of the summer, our local radio station hosted a contest. The sponsor was their main advertising partner, a large HVAC corporation based here in our city. The HVAC corporation was giving away a brand new, state of the art, high efficiency heating and cooling system as their main prize. At first I didn’t even think that I should enter the contest because I never win anything. I felt that it would just be a complete waste of time for me to call in and try to win the contest. But something just kept telling me to go ahead and call in when they were asking questions on the air, and I ended up getting through. When they asked me A whole bunch of questions about a particular band, it somehow ended up being my favorite band so I knew the answers to every single thing that they asked me. I scored higher than any other caller and so I ended up winning the contest, which was completely shocking to me. At the end of the segment, I realized that I had won the brand new heating and cooling system and I was so excited that I was jumping up and down. I have been needing to get a new heating and cooling system for my house for the past few years, but I just haven’t saved enough money for it. When I won this HVAC system, it really took a load off of my mind. It was the best day ever!
