Earlier this week, our air conditioning system tore up.
As luck would have it, it’s the same time that the weather started heating up too! We are expecting to have a very hot summer this year, and so I know that I’m going to be using my air conditioning a lot of the time.
I do not do well without air conditioning, and so I don’t really mess around when it comes to having it in good working order. Usually at the beginning of the summer, I have the local heating and cooling company come out to the house to give my air conditioning system a once over. They check it out and make sure that everything looks good. They also change my air filters and the battery in the thermostat unit and stuff like that. It’s always worked very well for me up until now. I think that there is something wrong with the air conditioning system at this point. I guess it’s something that has to do with the air conditioning unit itself instead of regular wear and tear that consistent maintenance takes care of. I know that the hot weather is coming, even though it’s still pretty cool right now. I am not really looking forward to the higher temperatures, even though I do like the sunshine. I guess the smartest thing for me to do would be to go ahead and schedule an air conditioning repair appointment. Hopefully, it won’t end up costing me a whole lot to get it fixed. I’d like to save my money for some summer fun instead.
