The last time I moved, nothing went according to plan.
- The movers were late and broke half of my stuff.
The new lease wasn’t ready when I tried to transfer in, so I lived in a motel for two mornings. And the home I wound up getting? Has been awful at every turn. I thought it was going to be a dream living here and having a new start to life… however instead it’s been stress, chaos, and unpredictability all the time. The next hiccup in my journey was finding out that the heating method in this home doesn’t do a thing. I woke up a single morning and it was less than 30 degrees outside – unfortunately, it was similar inside. The heating unit didn’t seem to be creating any moderate air, it was just circulating the ice cold drafts around the entire home. I tried what I could to service the oil furnace myself, and then the people I was with and I had to call the property owner for a professional Heating, Ventilation and A/C repair service. In the meantime, I decided that I would use the oven to make something moderate for my own comfort. I turned on the heating device and took the dog for a walk. When I returned? The oven was still ice cold, and so was my food. Apparently the oil furnace didn’t work in my cooking appliance, either. Again, I called the property owner to report the problem… however this time he didn’t option up. It’s been two weeks now, without any returned calls or any form of heat in my life – including, in my meals.
