It’s so nice to go outside in the day and not hear the heat pumps running all throughout the neighborhood. This is really the only time of year that happens. For about 8 weeks of the year, the heat pump is in action producing cooling comfort for all of our homes. But these mornings, it’s nice to get a chop as we really don’t need all that much heating from the heat pump. Still, I can’t imagine just what it would be appreciate to live in this region without the help from residential HVAC to deal with the heat the rest of the year. My family is from this region of the south and we have been in this region for generations. My Grandfather would consistently supply myself and others a strenuous time in the Summer when I chose to stay inside air conditioner instead of going out to play in the scorching sunshine. Then again, I was raised inside residential HVAC. For sure, I appreciate where I live however while I was in the worst of the Summer heat, I stick to the air conditioner when it’s brutal outside. My Grandpa would tell myself and others stories about how she grew up without any sort of air conditioner. That required him to get up well before the sun came up to get all her chores done around the farm. But once it got hot, there was no air conditioner to retreat to. Instead, the best you could do was find a shady spot and adore the rare breeze. I still I cannot imagine what it would be appreciate to live without residential HVAC. But when you really guess about it, residential HVAC has only been around since the 1950s. And yet, our culture is now completely dependent upon it especially if you live in the south and need all this air conditioner.
