With a sweater firmly wrapped around me, I was once again resting in my office, and attempting to get my work done
I didn’t realize just how important the A/C was for our home, until last week. It was only sixty-eight degrees, however the humidity levels were in the sixties. My husband had the A/C running, and I was cold. I asked why the A/C was on when it was only sixty-five in the house, and he pointed to our barometer and told me the humidity was higher than the temperature. I threw on a sweater and headed back to my office, then when he saw my goose bumps, he turned the A/C off, but I wanted it on, you could see the humidity outside, but I could feel it inside. Without the A/C on, the humidity was palpable, and I number one the cold to humidity. My husband thought I wanted the A/C off, however not at the risk of higher humidity. I was already in pain because of the damp, cool weather, and I didn’t need more pain. With a sweater firmly wrapped around me, I was once again resting in my office, and attempting to get my work done. I was also wishing I was ten years younger and had never heard of arthritis. My A/C can take care of the humidity, however it won’t do anything for the arthritis, then for two days straight my pal and I were running the A/C just to compensate the humidity, however on the fourth afternoon, it was sunny and the humidity had abated but, unluckyly, so did the cooler weather. We had to keep the A/C on because the temperature had gone upper sixties to mid eighties within the span of twelve hours..
