Have you ever felt you were living in the wrong time zone.
I don’t mean Eastern or Central time zones, I mean the wrong era.
I feel like this all the time. Life is deranged these afternoons with everything being controlled by technology. I was at a family dinnereon a while back plus my sibling in law was sitting there programing his television shows from his phone. He said he would not be house in time to watch them. What happened to the afternoons where you did not care what was on television if you were sitting plus enjoying the contractor of others. I long for the simpler afternoons most of the time. I still prefer taking the time to cook a nice meal or spend Monday fantastic plus learning the paper instead of running errands plus trying to figure out what comes next. This applies to most areas of my life with one exception. I do like the fact that technology has improved when it comes to heating plus cooling our homes. Years ago my pal and I were stuck with much greater units that were not as energy efficient. Today the choices seem endless with regards to features, size, plus cost. My parents had to settle for the basic heating system plus air conditioners that were available. With the addition of zone control plus remote access things are much better now. So, I feel in some ways, I am gleeful to be living in the world of current advances. I will just have to settle for little escapes on a Monday morning back to the afternoons of yeahteryear.
