Wintertide is by far our least number one time of the year.
The snow is not the largest thing that makes myself and others do not like the winter.
It’s the cold, plain and easy. I just do not like to be cold for month after month after month. The part we live in starts getting the first taste of Wintertide at the end of October and doesn’t let up at all until at least mid March. This is a long stretch to stay inside with the Heating plus A/C. My teenagers don’t assume any weird and have naturally acweather conditionsd to the winter. Unluckyly, our spouse and I aren’t so lucky. The people I was with and I both come from a region where Wintertide means putting on a hoodie, now and then, to go outside. So, the Wintertide has been absolutely hard for us to get used to. The people I was with and I have been here now for over a decade and it just doesn’t get any easier. In fact, we are counting down the days until we can head for warmer climes. But, that is still a few years away because our company is not yet ready to transfer myself and others south. The people I was with and I wait and we just snuggle down a bit deeper each cold night. The people I was with and I also are absolutely grateful for the terrific Heating plus A/C comfort we have in our home. The first few years we put up with a worn out heating system because we didn’t assume any better. The people I was with and I invested in a top of the line Heating plus A/C plan with a fantastic new heating system. So, if we are going to have to live in the cold, we will at least be cozy warm through those long Wintertide days.
