I work in sales and this is not what I am happy doing. I always wanted to be a certified heating and air conditioning specialist and fix people’s heating and cooling systems for a living. This has been an interest I have had since I was a teenager. The only reason I never went that route after high school was because at that time there were no cheap night classes to get your heating and air conditioning certification. You could only go to college and pay hundreds of thousands of dollars like any other college and I did not have that kind of money, and neither did my parents to send me to heating and air conditioning college. So I did not go to college and just ended up working in sales. However, now that there are night courses for heating and air conditioning certification, I am going to be taking them mid life here and switch careers. Once I get my certification to become a qualified heating and air conditioning specialist I will be quitting this awful job in a heartbeat and either going to work for one of our many local heating and air conditioning companies or possibly even start my very own heating and air conditioning business as an independent heat and a/c contractor! That is my major plan and it should all come together within the next year. And I can tell you that I can’t wait. I am very much looking forward to never having to close another sale again or high pressure sell anyone! Just help people’s heating and air conditioning needs.
