My wife Cara was a little chunky when I married her. She didn’t care about the way she looked, but I liked curves so it worked for me. Still, what I didn’t like was her low self esteem, because what was sexy to me was fat to her. I loved her and supported her, and eventually I convinced her to start working out. She understood I just wanted her to feel better about herself, it wasn’t about losing weight or changing the way she looked. She ended up throwing herself into it, and after one year of good exercise and an overall fitness program, she had lost 50 pounds! No fad diets, no special machinery bought from late night TV, just fitness, eating healthy, sleeping right, and good exercise, and she was a whole new woman. I have to laugh that I’m the only man I know who’s wife is losing weight as soon as she got married, however the exercise has paid off for her so much. The workout program she is on gives her so much more energy, she sleeps nicer, and her libido has gone through the roof, so it’s a big win for all of us! If I’m being honest I feel she was sexier when she was heavier, although I can’t argue with how positive the workout program has been for her mind, but her new thing is trying to get me to go to the gym with her, but that is not what I want to do at all. Taking an online fitness class once or twice a month is plenty for me.
