While our church building was closed down during all of the coronavirus shutdowns, we decided to take advantage of the time that the building was going to be empty.
We had been needing to replace the whole heating, cooling, and ventilation system in the church building for a few years, but we never wanted to stop having services long enough to make it actually happen.
Of course, nobody really wanted to shut down during the whole coronavirus scare, either, but we didn’t actually have very much of a choice at that point. When we closed everything down and stopped having services, we knew that it was going to be the perfect time to get the HVAC system replaced in the church. We decided to install a high efficiency furnace and air conditioning system in the church as well as go ahead and install quite a bit of new ductwork throughout the building. We had our commercial HVAC company come out and start doing the work for us and they did a really great job. Now that we are finally able to start meeting in person again after all this time, we are finally able to tell just how big of a difference all of our HVAC improvements have actually made to the indoor air quality of our building. There’s a really big difference in the way the air feels and smells inside the church. I think the whole place just feels cleaner and more sanitary. I love the work that the commercial HVAC company did and I’m so glad that we are back to having service in person!
