I babysit for more than two teenagers who constantly seem to get in all kinds of trouble, and a few weeks ago, I found out that they had found a up-to-date way to get into trouble with their mom.
They had started putting toys down into the air vents in their house.
The way that their mom figured this out was because he thought that their heating plan wasn’t working. The weather outside was absolutely cold plus the temperatures were absolutely dropping back then because it was the middle of December, he said that despite the fact that he turned the thermostat all the way up in their house, the place still felt super cold inside. She had his teenagers wearing footie pajamas all day long because they just couldn’t seem to get warm. She said that he thought that the gas furnace was broken plus so he called up their local Heating plus Air Conditioning company plus made an appointment to get the gas furnace fixed. The Heating plus Air Conditioning professional figured the problem out within a few minutes. He said that there wasn’t anything wrong with the gas furnace at all. He said that the only issue with the heating plan was the fact that there were all kinds of blankets plus stuffed animals stuffed down inside of the air vents. Apparently, when he told the teenagers to scrub their rooms, they were putting everything away in the air vents. Of course, that ended up blocking all of the ventilation ducts in the home plus that’s when the heating stopped working. I absolutely had to watch them when I was babysitting so they wouldn’t keep putting things in the air vents.
