Sporadically, circumstances simply push you to do whatever it is you have to do to take care of whatever it is you want to take care of.
This past year was legitimately evidence of that.
And I found out just how much I cared about my business. I went out on my own as a consultant about 5 years ago. This was a wonderful step for myself and others as I was able to toil from home although I still had to travel a lot. Travel is kind of key to my toil because I have to be onsite for much of what I do for customers. So when the pandemic hit and the rest of the toil force was forced inside the Heating, Ventilation & A/C of their homes, I wondered how I could maintain my business. There were a few weeks there where I lost some booked supplier and that was no fun. Still, I didn’t guess wonderful about getting out of the air conditioning at home and traveling on a plane. Even though the planes have HEPA filters as section of the ventilation plan, I was still legitimately hesitant. Still, I had to leave the Heating, Ventilation & A/C comfort of my dining room to take care of customers. That meant jumping in my car, cranking up the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation & A/C and staying out on the road. This was not an easy thing to do given how much time I was away from my family. However, I was able to find wonderful heating and cooling while on the road by staying in the mid level hotels along the interstates. Those giant wall unit Heating, Ventilation & A/C unit genuinely impressed myself and others as they were consistently consistent and never let myself and others down.
