My Grandpa passed away last summer, and I miss him so much.

When I was growing up, the two of us were so close and consistently spent time at our family cottage in the woods! My dad passed away when I was two years old! So, my grandpa stepped up and filled his shoes, which I appreciated so much. I never felt like I lacked having a father because he was consistently there. Besides, it made mom so enthusiastic to have some help while she was working. Since my Grandparents retired, they took over nanny duties without any fuss. Last summer, he suffered from a brief illness and died within two weeks. I was away for work and didn’t even have the chance to say goodbye. It was such a painful experience that I decided to pack my bags and drive to the cottage for some time, and once I got there, I realized the oil furnace wasn’t functioning. Thankfully, there were logs at the fireplace to keep the cottage warm. Granddad had installed an electric HVAC unit, however it seemed the connections weren’t perfect. I gave a call to the nearest cooling and heating repair supplier asking for a specialist. Thankfully, one was available and was able to come up to the cottage the following morning. That night, I felt the need to research more about various types of cottage furnaces. There was little else to do. I had my laptop with me, and luckily the Wi-Fi wasn’t so bad. I dove in head first, and from what I acquired, the electric apartment oil furnace was a wise choice. It was crucial enough to spread warmth throughout the cottage when functioning. But, installing such an intricate air conditioning device wasn’t a small matter. It required a professional oil furnace specialist to come in and figure it out. Knowing Grandpa, he decided to do the job on his own. I could picture him busy trying to figure out all the cooling and heating parts involved in the system. That made me smile and actually miss him even more.
