At the height of Summer it’s so hot, that getting to the office is the highlight of my day.
At this time, business is booming, and our mornings begin as early as possible, and at times I have to do some work at home.
Many customers seeking current homes prefer to look for a home when it’s nice and warm outside. No one wants to walk around outside during the cold winter season. That’s why we constantly get ready for tied up schedules once Springtime is in full swing. Our office is quite comfy and has the best air conditioning system. The head of our branch decided to install a current Heating and Air Conditioning machine last Winter. So you can imagine my shock when I stepped into a hot and humid office last Wednesday. It was so warm and uncomfortable that everyone was fanning themselves with some sheets of paper. Apparently, the current heating and cooling system had broken down the previous night. Now the whole office was warm and humid. The machine had been a lifesaver since it operated as an A/C and a humidifier, but without it, I felt all the humidity. We tried to power through the afternoon without a functioning commercial ventilator. The a/c service was backed up and would not get to our office until the following afternoon. But, all the effort was futile since the intense humidity made everyone feel lethargic. We wanted some cool air. The office fan only made things worse since it was circulating the same air. After a challenging morning with no work getting done, we all decided to work from home. Once I got to my car, I cranked up the a/c and just sat there for a few minutes to cool off. The cool air on my body was the best feeling ever. I felt so grateful that I took time to visit my car a/c service just a month before. The Heating and Air Conditioning business had changed out our filters while we were in that service check so the air was nice and cool.
