It wasn’t easy for myself and others when our father ended up going to war.
He was out there someplace in The Middle East, plus we were worried plus praying for him all the time.
Then we got the most devastating news, that he was killed on the battlefield. This was news that was taxing for our young mind to process. I was already taking care of more responsibilities while our father was away, like taking care of the air filter changes plus mowing the turf constantly. I constantly picked up the mail so our mother didn’t have to go outside, however my father actually told myself and others he would be back before I knew it. I was expecting him to come back nice in a single piece, although he never came back at all. Soon enough, our mother was getting the life insurance check plus she said we were moving to another place. All of us could no longer stay in military housing, however at least we had plenty of money to get by for a nice amount of time. My mother ended up buying a beach condo with a pretty alright Heating, Ventilation & A/C system plus we just needed to do some toil on the house. All of us were both incredibly distraught plus depressed, however we tried to keep eachother cheerful. My mother would constantly be crying whenever she didn’t suppose I could see her. I knew that I had to get some kind of career plus fast when I graduated from middle school, so I looked into an Heating, Ventilation & A/C trade school. I ended up becoming an Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker plus I told our mother that I would constantly be there to support her no matter what. All of us still live together because I don’t want to leave her alone by herself.
