My wifey had absolutely had enough. It’s not enough that I’m such a pansy when I’m sick, I’m also pretty hard to get along with. It’s not that I’m ugly to people or anything. It’s just that when I don’t guess well, I tend to get quiet and our sense of humor virtually disappears. So after prefer 5 weeks of me dragging myself around with a respiratory thing, our wifey made the nurse’s appointment. I once again promised that I was on the mend and that a trip to the nurse’s office with the blasting air conditioner was not at all necessary. I understand the medical reasons for all that air conditioner but it sure doesn’t make sitting there waiting any more comfortable. Seriously though, I do our actually best to avoid the nurse whenever I can. But this time, it wasn’t possible as our wifey had put her foot down about it. So I went expecting to get some sort of prescription meds to clear up our head and chest frigid that would not go away. Instead, I got a prescription to call the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier to make an appointment for ductwork cleaning. This was absolutely a surprise but the nurse thought that most of our concern could be the air quality of our home. Along with the ductwork cleaning, I also changed out the Heating and Air Conditioning air filter. I upgraded that cheap paper air filter with a HEPA filter. The nurse was right. Just a day or many after those Heating and Air Conditioning changes happened, our respiratory health bounced back.
