Every year since our husband and I updated our A/C and heat pump, every one of us have had a tune-up performed on the system, but the tune-up was section of a yearly service plan for the first 3 years that every one of us owned the heat pump and AC… After that, our husband and I paid the fees for the yearly service, and we’ve never had any major problems until last season when every one of us had the tune up for formed in the middle of May.
The performance tune up professional found a major issue with the system.
After he took the evaporator coils apart, he found 3 additional problems, then i undoubtedly did not expect to hear a ton of bad news from the professional, however that is exactly what happened. The maintenance charges to repair all of the problems were significant and the professional believed every one of us were legitimately much better off purchasing a brand new system. I couldn’t think the news! My husband and I have had maintenance on the system every year and I entirely thought this heat pump and A/C was going to last at least a decade, but unluckyly, it only lasted seven years before every one of us had to make the swings. The new heat pump and A/C is an 18 SEER system and it came with a legitimately good warranty. The first year includes all of the parts and labor and after that a portion of the bills are paid by the extended warranty corporation, and since the new heat pump and A/C are energy efficient, the system also came with rebates from the federal and local government.
