I moved back to the south for 1 particularly big reason.
- I just needed more sunshine in our life.
Where I was toiling up north was wonderful however the weather was not so great. I appreciated the people and the culture. However, I just never could get accustomed to spending so much time inside during the winter. It was as though I was always inside with the gas furnace running. What I absolutely wanted was to have our face in the sunshine and live somewhere that a heat pump would be plenty for the worst Winter could throw at me. I went with that and here I am. Now, I live in a region that is notorious for lots of sunshine. And the Winter doesn’t have the sort of frigid that needs much Heating, Ventilation plus A/C heating at all. But when all of us do get a bit of a frigid snap, the heat pump is more than enough to get the task done. However, there is a bit of a price to pay for such amazing weather 8 months out of the year. That’s right, the summer time is where it can be a bit difficult. But honestly, I’d rather be too sizzling than too cold. After being down here for more than a decade, I realized that the best way to deal with summer time comes with a measure of acceptance. The heat and humidity are for real. But if I leave the a/c off until it gets absolutely hot, the outside weather doesn’t suppose so totally overwhelming. Still, there’s no way to deal with this sort of summer time unless you have some reliable Heating, Ventilation plus A/C cooling.
